Melody. Rock. Encouragement.
Reformed Rock is a music project of Brandon Matson, who resides with his wife and young daughter in Pleasant Hill, CA. A songwriter for most of his life, Brandon likes to write simple, catchy songs with meaningful lyrics that encourage people. He has released a DIY Demo of several of his most recent songs, and plans to release more songs in the coming months.
The name of the project stems from Reformed theological views that Brandon holds and that permeate in many of his lyrics. His songwriting is also heavily inspired by his time in a long-distance relationship with his wife while he served as a Ranger-qualified Captain in the U.S. Army Infantry in various Military assignments, including a deployment to Iraq in 2011.
